Overview
HSN75176BDR is a low-power transceiver for RS-485 and RS-422 communications, comprising one driver and one receiver. The driver slew rate is not limited, enabling data rates up to 10Mbps, designed for half-duplex applications. Operates from a single 5V supply with Driver Enable (DE) and Receiver Enable (RE) pins. The driver features short-circuit current limiting and a thermal shutdown circuit that places driver outputs in a high-impedance state to prevent excessive power dissipation. The receiver inputs feature a fail-safe function that ensures a logic-high output when the inputs are open-circuited.
