Overview
HTD8236 is a DC brushed motor driver capable of bidirectional motor control with a peak current of up to 6A. It employs current decay mode to control motor speed via PWM of input signals and features a low-power sleep mode. The device integrates synchronous rectification to significantly reduce system power consumption. Internal protection features include overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature protection. The HTD8236N variant provides a fault detection output pin. The HTD8236 is available in an ESOP8 package with an exposed pad for improved thermal dissipation, is lead-free, and complies with environmental standards.
