Overview
This device is a monolithic integrated high-voltage, high-current quad channel driver designed to accept standard DTL or TTL logic levels. It is capable of driving inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC motors, and stepper motors, as well as switching power transistors. To facilitate use in both bridge configurations, each pair of channels is provided with an enable input. In addition, the logic circuit features a separate power supply input, allowing operation at lower voltages. Clamp diodes are also included internally to enhance performance. This device is suitable for switching operations at frequencies up to 5 kHz.
