Overview
HX65HVD3088-S is a high-speed RS485/RS-422 transceiver circuit supporting +5V supply with half-duplex functionality. It integrates one driver and one receiver, capable of achieving data transfer rates up to 10Mbps. The circuit features ±15KV ESD protection to effectively prevent electrostatic discharge damage to the chip. Both the driver and receiver are equipped with enable pins (DE and RE); when the enable pins are deasserted, the driver and receiver outputs enter a high-impedance state. In addition, the device includes a failsafe circuit that ensures correct output when the receiver inputs are open or short-circuited. The receiver input impedance is 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the same bus.
