Overview
IR2153(1)S is a 600V half-bridge gate driver with an integrated 50% duty cycle oscillator, capable of driving N-channel MOSFET or IGBT devices. The CT pin of IR2153(1)S simultaneously shuts down both high- and low-side outputs at low voltage (1/6th VCC). When VCC drops below the undervoltage threshold, IR2153(1)S pulls the CT pin low and disables both high- and low-side outputs. IR2153(1)S features strong output drive capability, with peak output source/sink current pulses up to +1.2A/-1.5A. IR2153(1)S incorporates built-in dead-time logic to prevent shoot-through in high- and low-side power MOSFETs or IGBTs. In addition, IR2153(1)S integrates a bootstrap diode for high-side bootstrap charging. Available in SOP8 package, it operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
