ISO3088-Y

ISO308X is a high-reliability half-duplex transceiver based on CMOSTEK digital isolation technology, compliant with UL1577 safety certification, supporting 5kVrms isolation voltage RS-485, with low EMI, low power consumption, and strong EMI immunity. The bus pins on the bus side of the ISO308X provide ±12kV system-level ESD protection to ground. This device features fail-safe protection, ensuring a logic high output when the receiver input is open or shorted. With a 1/8 unit load receiver input impedance, it allows up to 256 transceivers to be connected on the bus. The ISO308X supports data rates of 500Kbps and 12Mbps, reduces EMI on incorrectly terminated transmission lines, and is available in a wide-body SOIC-16 package.
