Overview
The IX4428N is a power switch series driver. It features matched rise and fall times when charging and discharging the gates of power switches. The IX4428N provides high latch-up immunity under any conditions within its rated power and voltage range. The IX4428N will not be damaged when noise spikes of up to 5V (either polarity) appear on the ground pin. The IX4428N can accept reverse currents of up to 500mA forced back into its outputs without damage or logic upset. All terminals are fully protected against ESD up to 2.0 kV. The IX4428N is available in an SOIC8 package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
