JSM2136S is an N-type high-voltage, high-speed power MOSFET/IGBT high- and low-side three-phase gate driver IC, incorporating three independent half-bridge drive circuits. It integrates internal under-voltage protection and over-current protection; upon detecting a fault, all six channel outputs are immediately shut down. An external enable control is provided to simultaneously disable all six channel outputs. Over-current fault conditions are automatically cleared after an externally programmable delay set by an RC network connected to the RCIN input. Logic inputs are compatible with CMOS or LSTTL logic output levels as low as 3.3V, and the floating channel maximum operating voltage reaches 700V. It is suitable for driving N-channel high-voltage power MOSFETs/IGBTs and similar devices. JSM2136S is available in a SOP-28 wide-body package and operates over a temperature range of -40 to 125°C. Three high-side floating drivers, operating via bootstrap circuitry in systems with voltages exceeding 700V, can achieve 100% duty cycle when the VB–VS voltage is above the under-voltage threshold. JSM2136S integrates input filtering. When the input signal glitches or the input pulse width is narrower than the filter time, the output signal remains unchanged. The inputs are compatible with both CMOS and TTL, enabling easier interfacing with host controller ICs. JSM2136S incorporates multiple protection features, including EN enable control, internal interlock, and over-current detection. When the EN pin is driven low, the driver IC will not trigger any output under any condition. The internal interlock prevents the driver IC from simultaneously driving HO and LO outputs high, avoiding shoot-through short circuits at the bridge circuit power output stage. Over-current detection rapidly senses changes in power device current, keeping the application operating in a stable state. In addition, to meet diverse industrial design requirements, JSM2136S features an adjustable restart timer port. By selecting the RC network parameters, the restart time can be freely set within a defined range.
