LDL40PUR

The LDL40 is a high-accuracy voltage regulator designed for direct connection to automotive batteries in automotive applications or general-purpose batteries used in industrial applications. The extended input voltage of up to 40V enables the device to withstand load dump transients typical in automotive systems. Ultra-low quiescent current at light load extends battery operating life in always-on standby systems. The device is stabilized with small ceramic capacitors at both the input and output. An enable logic control function places the LDL40 into shutdown mode, reducing total current consumption to below 0.3µA. The device also includes thermal protection. An automotive-grade version is available in an ultra-compact DFN package with wettable flanks, enabling maximum space savings in PCB design and AOI.
