Overview
The LM211/LM311 operates from a single supply of 5V to 30V or dual supplies of ±15V, and like common comparators, the LM211/LM311 can serve as a truly general-purpose comparator. The LM211/LM311 inputs can be isolated from the system ground, while the output can be referenced to ground, the supply rail, or VEE. This flexibility enables the device to drive DTL, RTL, TTL, or MOS logic levels. At an output current of 50mA, the output can switch voltages up to 50V, making it suitable for driving relays, lamps, or solenoids.
