Overview
The LM211/LM311 operates from a single supply of 5V to 30V or dual supplies of ±15V. Like common comparators, it is a truly general-purpose voltage comparator. Its inputs can be isolated from the system ground, and the output can be referenced to ground, the positive supply, or VEE. This flexibility allows it to drive DTL, RTL, TTL, or MOS logic levels. With an output current of 50mA, the output can switch voltages up to 50V, making it suitable for driving relays, indicator lamps, or solenoids.
