Overview
The LM311DR-CN is a single-channel high-speed voltage comparator. This device is designed to operate over a wide range of supply voltages, including ±15V supplies used with op amps and 5V supplies used in logic systems. Its output levels are compatible with most TTL and MOS circuits. These comparators are capable of driving lamps or relays, and can switch voltages up to 40V at currents up to 50mA. All inputs and outputs can be isolated from system ground. The output can drive loads referenced to ground, VCC+, or VCC-. Offset balancing and strobe functions are available, and outputs can be wire-OR connected. When the strobe input is low, the output is in the off state regardless of the differential input conditions.
