Overview
The LM393 consists of two independent, precision voltage comparators with an input offset voltage of no more than 0.0mV. It operates from either a single or dual supply, and its supply current is independent of the supply voltage magnitude. A unique feature of these comparators is that the input common-mode voltage range extends to ground level, even when operating from a single supply. Primarily used in consumer and industrial electronics. The IC is available in an SOP-8 package.
