Overview
The LM393 contains two independent, high-precision voltage comparators with an input offset voltage of no more than 2.0mV. The device operates from either single or dual supplies, with supply current independent of supply voltage magnitude. A key feature of these comparators is that the input common-mode voltage range extends down to zero, even when operating from a single supply. The device is primarily used in consumer and industrial electronics, and is available in a DIP8 package.
