Overview
The LM393 consists of two independent comparators internally. The circuit operates from a wide-range single supply or dual supplies. For dual-supply operation, the voltage difference between the two supplies must be between 2V and 18V, and ΔVCC must be at least 1.5V above the common-mode input voltage. Quiescent current consumption is independent of supply voltage. The open-collector outputs can be wire-AND connected with other open-collector outputs.
