Overview
The LM4863 is a dual audio power amplifier capable of delivering a maximum average output power of 3W with THD less than 10% into a 4Ω load at a 5V supply voltage. Additionally, a headphone input pin allows the amplifier to operate in single-ended mode when driving stereo headphones. The LM4863 is specifically designed to provide high-fidelity audio output with minimal external components. To simplify audio system design, the LM4863 integrates dual bridge speaker amplifiers and a stereo headphone amplifier in a single device. The LM4863 also features an externally controlled shutdown mode, stereo headphone amplifier mode, thermal shutdown protection, and a power-on pop reduction function.
