Overview

The LM4863 is a dual bridged audio power amplifier. At a 5V supply voltage, with THD+N kept below 1%, it delivers 2.2W of output power into a 4Ω load or 2.5W into a 3Ω load. Additionally, when driving stereo headphones, the headphone input allows the amplifier to operate in single-ended mode. This series of audio power amplifiers features SMT packaging and requires minimal external components to achieve high-quality output power. For straightforward audio system designs, the LM4863 integrates dual-bridge speaker amplification and stereo headphone amplification on a single chip.
