Overview

P is a mono bridged audio power amplifier that delivers 2W of continuous average power into a 4Ω load at 5V supply voltage with less than 10% THD. To reduce power consumption in portable devices, pulling the SHUTDOWN pin low puts the device into a micropower shutdown mode (IQ = 0.6μA typical). This audio power amplifier is specially designed for high-power, high-fidelity audio output. It operates from a supply voltage of 2.0V to 5.5V, supporting low-voltage operation. Since no output coupling capacitors, bootstrap capacitors, or impedance matching networks are required, only a minimal number of external components are needed, making it an ideal choice for low-power portable systems. Additional features include thermal shutdown protection, unity-gain stability, and externally configurable gain.
