The LP5910 is a low-noise LDO capable of delivering up to 300mA output current. This device is specifically designed for RF and analog circuits, meeting their requirements for low noise, high PSRR, low quiescent current, and excellent line and load transient response. The LP5910 employs innovative design techniques to achieve outstanding noise performance without a noise bypass capacitor, while supporting remote placement of the output capacitor. The device incorporates a reverse current protection circuit that prevents reverse current from flowing through the LDO into the IN pin when the input voltage falls below the output voltage. When the enable pin (EN) is low and the output is in shutdown, an automatic output discharge circuit discharges the output capacitor for fast shutdown. With its low input and output voltage ranges, the LP5910 is ideal for use as a post DC-DC regulator (post-buck regulator) or in applications powered by single- or dual-cell batteries. The device is designed to work with a 1μF input ceramic capacitor and a 1μF output ceramic capacitor. No separate noise bypass capacitor is required. Fixed output voltage ranges from 0.8V to 2.3V in 25mV increments.
