MAX13487EESA+T-JSM

The MAX13487EESA+T is a half-duplex RS-485/RS-422 transceiver with automatic transmit/receive control, incorporating one driver and one receiver. It features ±15kV human body model ESD protection and a fail-safe circuit that ensures a logic-high output at the receiver when the receiver inputs are open or shorted. The MAX13487EESA+T supports hot-plug capability, preventing erroneous data transmission on the bus during power-up or hot-insertion events. The MAX13487EESA+T employs automatic transmit/receive control, making it particularly well-suited for isolated RS-485 port applications. The driver input incorporates integrated driver enable control functionality. The MAX13487EESA+T features a slew-rate-limited driver that reduces EMI and reflections caused by improperly terminated cables, enabling error-free data transmission at up to 500Kbps.
