Overview

MAX4364E is a 3W mono Class AB audio power amplifier. It operates over a supply voltage range of 1.9V to 5.5V and features a BTL bridge-tied output configuration. With a 5V supply and a 4Ω load, it delivers an average output power of 3.0W at less than 10% THD. In shutdown mode, the typical quiescent current is below 0.5μA. The device is designed to provide adequate power and high-fidelity audio output, requiring minimal external components with no coupling or bootstrap capacitors at the output. Available in an SOP-8 package to minimize board area, it is ideal for mobile phones and other portable devices employing low-voltage, low-power solutions.
