Overview
TUDI-MAX488 is a full-duplex, low-power RS-485 transceiver compliant with the T/EIA-485 standard. Operating from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply, it integrates one driver and one receiver, both capable of independent signal transmission. The device features a 1/8 unit load, allowing up to 256 TUDI-MAX488 transceivers to be connected in parallel on the same communication bus. It supports error-free data transmission at rates up to 14Mbps. With an operating voltage range of 3.0V to 5.5V, it provides failsafe protection, current limiting, overvoltage protection, and hot-plug capability on control ports. The device offers excellent ESD performance with a Human Body Model protection rating of ±15KV.
