Overview
Voltage supervisory IC for monitoring supply voltages in digital systems, operating over the industrial-grade temperature range. The MAX809 generates a reset signal that asserts low when the system supply voltage falls below the threshold, and deasserts high at least 140ms after the supply voltage recovers above the threshold. The MAX809 series supports any customer-specified threshold voltage. Seven standard industrial threshold options are currently available, covering four supply voltage categories: 5.0V, 3.3V, 3.0V, and 2.5V. The MAX809 features a push-pull output stage that drives the reset output high when the monitored voltage exceeds the threshold. Fast power-supply transients and glitches are filtered out to prevent false triggering, while correct output logic and full performance are guaranteed even with supply voltages as low as 1.0V. The MAX809 is available in a compact 3-pin SOT-23 package.
