This device is a dual-bit non-inverting translator that functions as a bidirectional voltage-level translator, enabling digital switching compatibility between multi-voltage systems. The IC features two independently configurable supply rails: port A supports an operating voltage of 1.65 V to 3.6 V, powered by the VCCA rail; port B supports an operating voltage of 2.3 V to 5.5 V, powered by the VCCB rail. These features allow the device to support both lower and higher logic signal levels, providing bidirectional translation capability between 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V, and 5 V voltage nodes. When the output enable (OE) input is driven low, all I/Os are forced into a high-impedance state, significantly reducing quiescent current consumption. To maintain the high-impedance state during power-up or power-down, the OE pin should be connected to GND through a pull-down resistor; the minimum value of this resistor is determined by the current-sourcing capability of the driver.
