This device is a synchronous buck converter featuring constant on-time (COT) control. The main control loop operates in COT mode, supporting low-ESR ceramic output capacitors and achieving fast transient response without external compensation components — output voltage transient deviation is only 35mV at 1.2V output with a 0A-to-2A load step. This control technique enables seamless transition between PWM mode and light-load operation mode, maintaining high efficiency under light-load conditions. The operating input voltage range is 4.5V to 16V, with output voltage adjustable from 0.8V to 6V. Soft-start time is programmable. Integrated protection features include over-temperature protection, undervoltage protection, and cycle-by-cycle current limiting. Available in a 6-pin SOT23-6 package, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
