Overview
MX2804 integrates eight Darlington transistors and one H-bridge motor driver, designed for security surveillance applications to drive 2 stepper motors and 1 IR-CUT motor. MX2804 integrates eight independent high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor arrays. Internal freewheeling diodes are incorporated for driving inductive loads such as relays and stepper motors. Each Darlington transistor collector can output 500mA. Parallel connection of Darlington transistors enables higher output current capability. Each Darlington channel is series-connected with a 2.7K base resistor, allowing direct interface with TTL/CMOS circuits at 5V operating voltage and direct handling of data that would otherwise require standard logic buffers. The H-bridge motor driver input is TTL/CMOS compatible with excellent noise immunity. The internal logic control circuit supports bidirectional motor forward, reverse, and brake control. The power transistors can conduct a continuous current with a typical value of 100mA. Built-in clamp diodes dissipate reverse surge currents from inductive loads.
Applications
- Security surveillance
