NS4814

NS4814 is a mono audio power amplifier with a built-in BOOST module, supporting switchable Class AB/D operating modes. The operating mode can be toggled between Class AB and Class D via logic level settings to suit different application environments. PVDD employs an adaptive boost architecture: in idle mode and under very light loads, BAT directly supplies PVDD; under heavy loads, PVDD is boosted to a fixed 8.5V. In Class AB mode, the boost is disabled and BAT directly supplies PVDD. In Class D mode, advanced techniques are employed to significantly reduce EMI across the full bandwidth, minimizing interference with other components. The filterless PWM modulation topology and integrated feedback resistors reduce external component count, PCB area, and system cost. When operating in Class D mode, the CTRL pin logic level can be configured to enable NCN (Non-Crack Noise) mode, preventing speaker damage caused by high-power overload output and improving audio quality across the full operating voltage range. Built-in overheat, overcurrent, and undervoltage protection effectively safeguards the device against damage under abnormal operating conditions. Available in standard ESOP8 package.
