NS4830

NS4830 is a mono audio power amplifier featuring switchable AB/D class operating modes, capacitive boost topology, and 5.3W high efficiency. The chip integrates a fixed gain of 24x, effectively reducing the number of external components. AB/D class operating modes can be switched via a single control pin's high/low logic level to suit different application environments. Even in Class D operating mode, NS4830 employs advanced technology to significantly reduce EMI across the full bandwidth, minimizing interference with other components. In addition, NS4830 features power supply adaptability — when the supply voltage is low, the amplifier automatically reduces gain to limit output power. At a supply voltage of 4.2V, NS4830 can deliver up to 5.3W of output power into a 4Ω load. NS4830 integrates over-temperature protection to effectively safeguard the chip against damage under abnormal operating conditions. Leveraging spread-spectrum technology to fully optimize the new circuit design, efficiency exceeding 80% makes it well suited for low-voltage, high-power-output audio systems. NS4830 is available in an eSOP10 package with a rated operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
