Overview

This device is a high-voltage, high-performance Class-D audio power amplifier driver IC, designed specifically for Class-D audio amplifier systems with ultra-high output power. It integrates an analog power amplifier, PWM modulation circuit, high/low-side overcurrent protection, shoot-through prevention dead-time logic, and three voltage domains. The product employs a flexible, open-loop topology to implement PWM modulation. It incorporates pop-click suppression during startup and shutdown to eliminate unwanted audible noise when the PWM signal is switched on and off. Combined with a power bridge circuit and a small number of passive components, a complete Class-D audio power amplifier can be constructed. The device implements overcurrent detection by sensing the power MOSFET's R_DS(on), eliminating the need for conventional direct current sensing, thereby simplifying the system architecture and reducing application complexity. The breakdown voltage between the floating well and the chip substrate ground exceeds 300V, enabling use in amplifier applications up to ±150V and achieving power output exceeding 500W.
