Overview

The OPA837 and OPA2837 are single-channel and dual-channel unity-gain stable voltage feedback amplifiers that can provide a higher MHz/mW bandwidth compared to other precision operational amplifiers. These two 3.0mW devices consume only 600μA per channel (from a single 5V supply) and can provide a 105MHz bandwidth at a gain of 1V/V. The extremely low trimmed offset voltage of ±130μV (maximum) provides a temperature drift of ±0.4μV/°C (typical, ±1σ). The OPAx837 is ideally suited for single-ended successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver applications, offering a low input-referred noise level (4.7nV/√Hz) for 3mW of quiescent power. The extremely high 50MHz gain-bandwidth product provides a low output impedance at high frequencies, which is necessary to provide fast charging current in SAR ADC driver applications. This low dynamic output impedance is also suitable for reference buffer applications with precision ADCs. The single-channel OPA837 is available in a 6-pin SOT - 23 package (including a power-down feature) and a 5-pin SC70 package, while the dual-channel OPA2837 is available in an 8-pin VSSOP package and a 10-pin WQFN package. A low-power, low-noise, precision single-ended SAR ADC driver with true ground input and output ranges. The OPAx837 has a wide rated operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
