RS541T is an 8-bit non-inverting buffer/line driver with 3-state outputs. The device features two output enable pins (OE1 and OE2). When OE is HIGH, the associated outputs are placed in a high-impedance off state. The inputs include clamp diodes that allow the use of current-limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages higher than VCC. To ensure the high-impedance state is maintained during power-up or power-down, OE (with overline) should be connected to VCC through a pull-up resistor, with the minimum resistance value determined by the current-sinking capability of the driver.
