SCT2A12STER

SCT2A12 is an asynchronous buck converter with a wide input voltage range of 5.5V to 100V, suitable for a variety of step-down applications and ideal for automotive, industrial, and lighting applications. The device integrates a 970mΩ high-side MOSFET, providing a 1.8A peak output current limit when VIN < 60V to support high peak current applications. The SCT2A12 adopts a constant on-time control mode with integrated loop compensation, greatly simplifying the external configuration of the converter. The device features a pulse frequency modulation mode at light load with a typical quiescent current as low as 49μA, enabling high efficiency under light-load or no-load conditions. The SCT2A12 provides cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown protection, output overvoltage protection, and input undervoltage protection. The device is available in an 8-pin thermally enhanced ESOP-8 package.
