Overview

The SGM89000 is a 2Vrms pop/click-free stereo line driver. The device is designed for single-supply applications. The capacitor-free design eliminates output DC-blocking capacitors, reducing component count and cost. The device features differential inputs and can drive a 2Vrms signal into a 2.5kΩ load at a 3.3V supply voltage. The integrated shutdown control also enables pop/click-free switching. Users can set the gain between ±1V/V and ±10V/V via external gain-setting resistors, which can also be used to implement a second-order low-pass filter for use with SOC and DAC converters. The SGM89000 requires no negative supply. Its integrated charge pump generates the negative supply rail needed for 2Vrms output, providing a clean, pop/click-free ground-level offset. The device is available in a green TSSOP-14 package and operates over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
