SN65LBC184DR(UMW)

The SN75LBC184 and SN65LBC184 are differential data line transceivers in the industry-standard SN75176 package, featuring built-in high-energy noise transient protection. This feature significantly enhances reliability, providing better immunity to noise transients coupled onto data cables than most existing devices. These circuits enable reliable, low-cost, direct-coupled (without isolation transformers) data line interfaces with no external components required. The SN75LBC184 and SN65LBC184 can withstand overvoltage transients up to 400W peak (typical). The standard combination wave specified in IEC 61000-4-5 simulates overvoltage transients and models unidirectional surges caused by overvoltage resulting from switching and secondary lightning transients. The combination wave is simulated by a double-exponential function defined by independent rise and fall times for voltage and current respectively.
