The SN74AXC2T45 is a 2-bit non-inverting bus transceiver that uses two independently configurable power rails. The device operates when VCCA and VCCB supply voltages are as low as 0.65V. Port A tracks VCCA and supports any supply voltage in the range of 0.65V to 3.6V. Port B tracks VCCB and also supports any supply voltage in the range of 0.65V to 3.6V. In addition, the SN74AXC2T45 is compatible with single-supply systems. The SN74AXC2T45 is designed for asynchronous communication between data buses. Based on the logic level at the direction control input (DIR), the device transfers data from bus A to bus B, or from bus B to bus A. The SN74AXC2T45 is designed so that the control pin (DIR) is referenced to VCCA. The device is fully specified for partial-power-down applications using the Ioff current. When the device is powered down, the Ioff protection circuit ensures that no excess current is drawn from or driven to inputs, outputs, or combined I/O pins biased to a specific voltage. The VCC isolation feature ensures that when VCCA or VCCB falls below 100mV, the I/O ports disable their outputs and enter a high-impedance state. Power-supply sequencing immunity allows the power rails to be powered up or powered down in any order, providing robust power-sequencing performance.
