The SP3481 and SP3485 are a family of low-power, half-duplex transceivers compliant with RS-485 and RS-422 serial protocol specifications. These devices achieve low-power operation without sacrificing performance, and meet the electrical specifications of RS-485 and RS-422 serial protocols under loads of up to 10M.
