SP3485ECDQ3/TR-HG

SP3485E is a 3.3V-powered, half-duplex, low-power transceiver for RS-485/RS-422 communication, fully compliant with the TIA/EIA-485 standard. The device contains one driver and one receiver, each independently enable or disable controlled, presenting a high-impedance state when disabled. The receiver features 1/8 unit load (96kΩ) input impedance, allowing up to 256 transceivers to be connected in parallel on the same bus, enabling error-free data transmission at up to 12Mbps. The operating voltage range is 3.0V ~ 3.6V, with integrated failsafe, over-temperature protection, current-limiting protection, and overvoltage protection. Driver output protection is provided through overcurrent protection and thermal shutdown circuitry (activated when die temperature exceeds 140°C).
