Overview
SS8833T is a dual-bridge motor driver with two H-bridge drivers capable of driving two DC brushed motors, one bipolar stepper motor, solenoids, or other inductive loads. It operates at 2.7V ~ 15V with a load current of up to 1.0A per channel. The output driver block of each H-bridge consists of P+N-channel power MOSFETs configured as an H-bridge to drive motor windings, and each H-bridge includes circuitry for regulating or limiting winding current. Internal protection features include output current limiting via an external current-limiting resistor, UVLO, OCP, and thermal shutdown, with an over-temperature output alarm available to indicate thermal shutdown. SS8833T is offered in three package options for customer flexibility.
