SS8837T-DF-TP

The SS8837T provides an integrated motor driver solution for cameras, consumer products, toys, and other low-voltage or battery-powered motion control applications. The device is capable of driving one DC motor or a device such as a solenoid. On-resistance: HS + LS 260mΩ. The output consists of an H-bridge of N-channel power MOSFETs to drive the motor winding. An internal charge pump generates the required gate drive voltage. The SS8837T can provide output current up to 1.8A. It operates from a motor supply voltage between 0 and 12V, and a device supply voltage ranging from 1.8V to 12V. The SS8837 features a PWM (IN/IN) input interface, and also provides internal shutdown functions for overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, UVLO, and overtemperature protection. The SS8837T is an H-bridge driver capable of driving one DC motor or devices such as a solenoid. The output is controlled via the PWM interface (IN1/IN2) on the SS8837T. A low-power sleep mode can be enabled using the nSLEEP pin. By integrating the necessary drive MOSFETs and MOSFET control circuitry into a single device, the SS8837T significantly reduces the component count in motor drive systems. In addition, the SS8837 adds protection features over traditional discrete implementations: UVLO, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown.
