Overview
SSP8810 is a low-voltage DC motor driver IC designed specifically for low-voltage operating systems. It integrates 4 low-resistance MOSFETs with forward, reverse, brake, and stop functions. The SSP8810 features built-in thermal protection: when an output short circuit occurs, the output current surges instantaneously, causing a sharp rise in circuit power dissipation and chip temperature. Once the chip temperature exceeds the maximum threshold set by the internal thermal protection circuit, the internal circuitry shuts down the built-in power switching transistors to cut off the load current.
