Overview
The SSP8810 is a low-voltage DC motor driver IC designed for low-voltage operating systems. It integrates four low-resistance MOSFETs and supports forward rotation, reverse rotation, braking, and stop functions. The IC features built-in thermal protection: when a short circuit occurs at the output, the output current spikes instantaneously, causing a sharp increase in circuit power dissipation and a rapid rise in die temperature. When the die temperature exceeds the maximum threshold set by the internal thermal protection circuit, the internal circuitry shuts down the built-in power switching transistors, thereby cutting off the load current.
