Overview
TC7SZ14 is a single Schmitt-trigger inverter. The device is designed for operation with Vcc between 1.65V and 5.5V and can be driven by 3.3V or 5V devices. This feature allows these devices to be used as translators in mixed 3.3V and 5V environments. The TC7SZ14 device contains one inverter that performs the Boolean function γ̄ = Ā. The device operates as a standalone inverter with Schmitt-trigger inputs, providing different input threshold levels for the positive-going input (Vt+), which enables the device to tolerate slow or noisy input signals. The device is fully specified for partial-power-down applications using Ioff. The Ioff circuit disables the outputs when the device is powered down, preventing current backflow into the device and avoiding damage to the device. The TC7SZ14 is offered in SOT23-5 and SOT353 packages.
