Overview
The TJA1050 is an interface between a CAN protocol controller and the physical bus. It is primarily designed for high-speed automotive applications, supporting data rates up to 1 Mbaud. The TJA1050 provides differential transmit capability to the bus and differential receive capability to the CAN controller.

- Ultra-low current standby mode with bus wake-up (remote) capability
- TXD dominant timeout function
- Bus pin protection against automotive transient environments
- Thermal protection against bus pins and SPLIT pin short-circuit to supply and ground
