C2000 32-bit microcontrollers are optimized for processing, sensing, and driving to improve the closed-loop performance of real-time control applications such as industrial motor drives, PV inverters and digital power supplies, electric vehicles and transportation, motor control, and sensing and signal processing. The C2000 series includes high-performance MCUs and entry-level performance MCUs. The F2803x series of microcontrollers combines the performance of the C28x core and the control law accelerator (CLA) with highly integrated control peripherals in a low-pin-count device. The code for this series of devices is compatible with legacy code based on the C28x, while also offering high analog integration. An internal voltage regulator enables single-supply rail operation. The HRPWM module is enhanced to enable bilateral edge control (frequency modulation). An analog comparator with a 10-bit internal reference is added, which can be directly routed to control the PWM output. The ADC can perform conversions in a fixed full-scale range of 0V to 3.3V and supports proportional operation of the VREFHI/VREFLO reference. The ADC interface is optimized for low overhead and latency.
