Overview

The TPL5110 nano-timer is a low-power system timer integrated with a MOSFET driver, which is very suitable for power gating in duty cycle or battery-powered applications. The quiescent current of the TPL5110 is only 35 nA, and it can be used to start and stop the power line, thereby significantly reducing the total system standby current during sleep. This energy-saving feature can significantly reduce the battery size, so the TPL5110 is very suitable for energy harvesting or wireless sensor applications. The TPL5110 offers selectable time intervals from 100 ms to 7200 s, which are suitable for power gating applications. In addition, the TPL5110 also has a unique one-shot function, which allows the timer to power the MOSFET for only one cycle. The TPL5110 comes in a 6-pin Small Outline Transistor (SOT23) package.
