Overview
TPM16050 is a high-voltage H-bridge driver specifically designed for IR cut filter control in surveillance cameras. It is optimized to drive IR cut filters with an impedance of 20Ω at supply voltages of 3.3V, 5V, or 12V, delivering drive currents up to 0.5A. TPM16050 can withstand supply voltages up to 17V. It also supports connecting an external 26.9Ω/2.5W resistor in series with the power supply pin VM to protect low-voltage loads such as IR cut filters from voltage overstress when operating at 12V. Built-in protection features — including overcurrent protection, short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout, and overtemperature protection — enhance overall system reliability.
