The TPS562207 is an easy-to-use 2A synchronous buck converter in a SOT563 package. The device is optimized to minimize the external components required for operation and to achieve low standby current. This SMPS device employs D-CAP2 mode control to provide fast transient response and supports low ESR output capacitors such as dedicated polymer capacitors as well as ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors without requiring external compensation components. The TPS562207 operates in forced continuous conduction mode (FCCM) to maintain a fixed switching frequency and achieve minimal output voltage ripple. The TPS562207 is available in a 6-pin 1.6mm × 1.6mm SOT563(DRL) package and is rated for a junction temperature range of –40°C to 125°C.
