Overview
The TPS563201 and TPS563208 are easy-to-use 3A synchronous step-down converters in a small-outline transistor (SOT)-23 package. These devices are designed to operate with the fewest possible external components while achieving low standby current. These SMPS devices employ the D-CAP2 control topology to provide fast transient response and support low-ESR output capacitors such as dedicated polymer capacitors as well as ultra-low ESR ceramic capacitors, without requiring external compensation components. The TPS563201 can operate in pulse-skip mode to maintain high efficiency during light-load operation. The TPS563201 and TPS563208 are available in a 6-pin 1.6mm × 2.9mm SOT (DDC) package and are rated for a junction temperature range of –40℃ to 125℃.
