Overview

The TPS565201 is a simple, easy-to-use 5A synchronous buck converter. The device is optimized to minimize external components required for operation and achieve low standby current. This SMPS device employs D-CAP2™ control, which enables fast transient response without external compensation components. D-CAP2 also supports the use of low-ESR dedicated polymer capacitors and ceramic output capacitors. The TPS565201 is capable of operating in pulse-skipping mode to maintain high efficiency during light-load operation. The TPS565201 is available in a 6-pin 1.6mm×2.9mm SOT (DDC) package and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
