The TPS7A33 series linear regulators are negative voltage (–36V), ultra-low noise (16μV RMS, 72dB PSRR) linear regulators capable of supplying loads up to 1A. The TPS7A33 series features a compensated CMOS logic-level compatible enable pin (EN), which allows user-customizable power management schemes. Additional features include built-in current limiting and thermal shutdown to protect the device and system under fault conditions. Due to the primary use of bipolar technology in its design, the TPS7A33 is well suited for high-accuracy, high-precision measurement instrument applications where a well-regulated voltage rail is critical for maximum system performance. This makes the device ideal for powering op-amps, ADCs, DACs, and other high-performance analog circuits. In addition, the TPS7A33 series linear regulators are suitable for post DC/DC converter regulation. By filtering the output voltage ripple inherent in DC/DC switching conversion, optimal system performance is ensured in sensitive instrumentation, medical, test and measurement, audio, and RF applications.
